What is Emma Sansom Chapter #31?  The Emma Sansom Chapter is under the organization of Texas Society Order of Confederate Rose.  We are a support group for the Capt. James P. Douglas Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #124, Tyler, Texas.  We are open to all males and females, ten years of age and older, regardless of ancestry who wish to show support of our Confederate heritage, to aid and further the cause of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and to support all endeavors sponsored by the SCV.  We are non-racial, non-political, and non-sectarian.  We do not compete with the United Daughters of the Confederacy, or with any other genealogical organization.  Our goal is to aid and further the cause of the SCV and support all sponsored endeavors, including but not limited to, the support of ALL Confederate symbols.
